I went to the link in our side bar that helps us find how something works and wrote "strain gauge", a word many of us were not very familiar with from page 134 in today`s exercise on cause-effect. Well, here is a link to a place that gives us more information on the use of this device to measure the weight of trucks that run in North American highways.

Que interesante es este sistema, ademas que es muy util en lugares como aduanas y puertos para medir el peso de los container en los que se transportan la mayoria de los productos que llegan al país.
Yes, Jorge S. I guess you are the only one to find this system interesting so far. When we were doing the exercise it was hard for me to visualize what they were talking about and this Internet site cleared it up for me. See you around ;-)
